Now in its seventh season, the Coshocton Youth Chorale was established in 2002-2003 as a project of the Coshocton Community Choir. Its first two seasons were made possible through the generosity of the Schooler Family Foundation. Since the Chorale’s debut at the 2003 spring concerts, they have sung as a part of each Community Choir concert and have also sung for the Roscoe Village candlelighting, a Coshocton City Schools’ Staff Appreciation Dinner, the dedication of  the Coshocton Public Library’s new sculpture in 2006, an Echoing Hills Christmas banquet, and for the 2004 meeting of the Ohio Common Pleas Judges’ Association.  A quartet represented the Youth Chorale at the All-Ohio Choral Festival on November 15, 2008, in Columbus. Singers, selected by audition, represent Coshocton, Ridgewood, River View, Caldwell, Newcomerstown, Licking Heights and two home high schools. The Youth Chorale concludes each season with a spring concert at the Roscoe United Methodist Church.
