'Still Be My Vision' — Spring Concert Preview
The Coshocton Community Choir, including singers traveling from 11 Ohio counties, will share a preview of its spring concert, ‘Still Be My Vision,’ at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at First United Methodist Church, 88 N 5th St., Newark, OH 43055. The concert will feature a selection of sacred and secular choral music, including arrangements and settings of familiar Easter hymns, classical works, spirituals and more. Admission is free. This is the Choir’s first appearance in Newark.
Now in its 55th season, the Coshocton Community Choir was organized in 1971 by Charles R. Snyder, an accomplished Ohio teacher, choral conductor, and church musician. Since its founding, more than 900 singers have sung with the Choir, which has become known for its renditions of sacred a cappella literature. The Choir’s singers, who come from all backgrounds, vocations and walks of life, rehearse together weekly through the fall and winter and traditionally perform narrated Christmas and spring concerts.
